Step, skip!

The previous week, Cheryl learned what a step and skip mean and this week, Teacher Siew Li brought in this gigantic keyboard and the children literally had to step and skip on the keys. I thought this was a brilliant way of getting the children to understand what step and skip mean.

Then they proceeded to do the exercise in their activity book.

Cheryl also had a chance to revise her scale with the little place cards.

It was a breeze for Cheryl as she recites her scale everyday.

There will be a recital for the MIM (the course which C is currently in) pupils from the June lot coming up next month and I am contemplating taking Cheryl along. After all, she is expected to perform in the recital come this December too and this might just be a good opportunity for her to see how the children perform on stage.
