fever, fever ... go away...

I received a message from Daddy in the afternoon informing that C had come down with fever... .

And I cringed because I knew this was coming when I saw that her socks were off this morning. That was why, before we left for work in the morning, I felt her forehead numerous times.

In the evening, I quickly brought her to the doc. I suppose it was good news when he told me that C had just crossed the safety mark; chances of her suffering from another bout of febrile convulsion decreases tremendously since she is now past 3 years old. Phew! I NEVER want to relive that moment.

So I will monitor her closely tonight and feed her meds every 3 hourly and hopefully, by tomorrow evening, the fever bug will go and stay away.

Cheryl's fever has finally subsided and hopefully it will stay away so that she won't miss music class tomorrow. She has missed 2 days of school (first time she has taken days off from Josiah because she is not well) and more importantly, she missed her first educational trip too.
