fun for the kids, more fun for the adults!

We didn't have any plans today and when Aunt Joanie asked if we wanted to let the kids waddle in the pool, Daddy and I thought it would be brilliant! So we headed for the Siaw's in the late afternoon.

Cheryl was talking about it the whole time and she even hurried us to get ready.

It was just a simple pool with lots of toys and it was enough for the girls to go wild! Daddy joined in too and they spent over an hour in there. Children are so easily satisfied. :) While the children played, the mummies chatted and caught up with each other.

We headed for dinner then after and ate our hearts away!

The kids were kept busy while we waited for the arrival of our food.

Daddy was obviously very happy! *that is an understatement!*

The appetizers came...

... and then the food

This was what I had.

Daddy's.

Daddy smiling away as he got ready to tuck in. Uncle Edwin looked so glum as his food was the last to arrive.

Cheryl's share!

She loved her noodles!

and oh, fresh and sweet sashimi!

We all got us some donuts for breakfast tomorrow!

This little pretty thing is Cheryl's. She has a sweet tooth like Daddy and was grinning when she saw it.

I realised that I had taken Aunt Joanie's stash only after we got back. Sorry, dear! Hee.

Thank you for the great time, Aunt Joanie, Uncle Linus, Aunt Shirley and Uncle Edwin! We are always having Japanese food so maybe we should opt for something else the next time?

Food... not quite.. more friends!

We had plans to have crabs initially and I should have called to make enquiries but I didn't and it was at the very last minute that we decided to go to another place for buffet.

Well, it wasn't not much of a gastronomical experience to speak of, but I guess, great company made up for it.

Just some of the food we had.

C kept herself busy by doodling and writing some letters she learned.

Our girls had similar blouses on! haha!

Durians!

Durians are in season and although I didn't blog about them, Daddy, Cheryl and I have had several sessions already with different people each time.
There was once where we went to one of Daddy's colleague's place, then another one we had at Aunt Di's and Uncle Ben's place and this evening, Aunt Shirley and Uncle Edwin asked us out for dinner and of course, durians for dessert.

Heidi was having a wonderful time at the dining table.

Oh, the thorny beauties!!

Cheryl absolutely adores Heidi. She was running after her and making sure that she held onto Heidi's hand at all time. Heidi wasn't as comfortable having Cheryl fussing over her. hee.

Oh, Cheryl particularly likes the sweet durians and although she was coughing (for a few days now) she couldn't resist the temptation.

Yeah, she loves to eat the smelly fruit but our Spark doesn't like to get her hands dirty. Oh, look at Heidi staring at Cheryl. Ha ha!
