a break from the city

Hmmm..... some how this year seems odd. The term breaks definitely did not come as quickly as we wanted them to. Haha. At the beginning of this September holidays, we decided to do a simple staycation instead of going away.

No regrets for choosing Hotel Fort Canning. It was truly quite magical and very quiet; something we all wanted and enjoyed. C was very happy when we got into the room as it had a patio and a tub so close to the bed.

Fort Canning Park, when there isn't a concert and all is quiet. This place is so beautiful and to have it sit on a hill and overlooking the busy city is quite a view.

C had to soak in the tub after her swim. She absolutely loved the experience and gave it the thumbs-up. 

We also had complimentary coffee and wine. What a relaxing evening. The staff was warm and friendly and this place was just charming. It is definitely a place that we will come back to.
