"I am a big girl now."

Cheryl is at the stage where she wants to do everything by herself. She will exclaim loudly that she is " 4 years old and a big girl now."

I think I should learn to let go and just trust that she can do things properly. She wants to scrub herself when she is in the showers, she wants to feed herself, she wants to play the computer on her own. Here, she is putting on her pjs. I can get a little impatient with her and hurry her or worse, take over whatever she is doing. Sigh, I should seriously learn that she is growing up and I can relax a little although she takes an awfully long time. Hahaha.

Okay, I just wish she can just pick up her toys after she is done playing with them.

She develops so fast, four years old and already showing signs of being independent. I think that is a good indication. Most youngsters that I’ve encountered tend to be overly reliant on others and subsequently have little resilience towards handling setback.

  • It's been a while since we sat ourselves in a plane. Definitely itching to fly over, to let our hair loose, to catch up with friends and be tourists.
