Parents' Teacher Conference 2013 - Mid year review

I went down to meet with Mrs Lim this afternoon. C was at home but she came along for the session as she wanted to get some Mandarin readers and also because she needed to attend her art class after that. 

Mrs Lim commented that C is strong in her English but C needs to work on generating ideas for her writing. C has a good grasp of her Mathematics concepts. As for her Mandarin, Madam Yeo recommended that C reads a lot more. She also wanted C to pay attention to intonation.

Mrs Lim noted that C is friendly, helpful and polite. She often volunteered to take on tasks and would not hesitate to lend a helping hand to her classmates.

On the whole, C did well; improvement from her results in term 1. :)

A pleasant surprise. C was awarded a scholarship for her results in Primary 1 and the cheque came in some days ago. The amount would go into C's account and would be used for her studies. :)
