Really Good!

I blogged about this some time back but seriously, I can't tell you enough how much I love this! How much we all: Daddy, Cheryl and I love it.

We started taking Really Raw Honey last November and we have never felt better.

We take it nightly before we go to bed and it has become kind of a ritual for us. Daddy was on reservist the previous week and on Thursday, he complained of a bad throat. Of course, the most natural thing to do was to give him some honey and :) yes, the sore throat went away so there. This sweet nectar really works!
But wait! I am letting you in on a piece of good news.
You can now order your stash of honey yourself via this website. :) At $75 per bottle of 1.19kg, this is truly a steal because before the days of Vera Oh, I had to dutifully buy my honey from stores for over $100 for a bottle. So, don't wait! :) Make your orders today!

Hi,

sorry for interrupting. Forgot how i get to know your blog, think was from Singaporemotherhood.

I have a girl, who is same age as Cheryl.

I am interested in the really raw honey. But i was wondering how much do you feed Cheryl per day, and if you feed her everyday?

Thanks!

hey ginsengmum:
i see. :) thanks for visiting.

Oh, what a coincidence! :)

I give C every night. i started with 1 teaspoon. you know, those kiddy spoon set? just one nightly. then as time progressed, c got to enjoy the honey and she now takes 2 of those teaspoons.

c takes it every night. i realised that her tendency to develop cough has reduced tremendously. actually, i can be proof that the honey works cuz i have tried to stop 2 full blown cough outbreaks: those kind that will lose voice one with the honey so now i swear by it. btw, we take the honey neat. eat like that from the bottle.

you try 1 bottle first. i mean, the taste is really quite something and different. i used to take manuka honey... now my manuka is sitting in the cupboard collecting dust. hehehehe.

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Ya, currently my kids are taking manuka UMF 10+. But my girl has sensitive airway, and prone to asthma.

Thus i thought of letting her try this honey with propolis and see if i can reduce her frequency of getting cough, flu, etc

Pandon me for being such a question kid, but do you give Cheryl even when she is coughing? How long after introducing her this honey then can see her immunity getting better?

Think i shall give a bottle from Vera to test water. kekke

hmm...
my girl has this problem of not drinking water. guess she takes after me. hahah. i am a camel! hee

anyways, back to your question. when cheryl coughs badly, as in with lots of phelgm, i don't give her. will give her muscusolven (not sure of spelling) to reduce her phelgm and it usually goes away after 3 days of medication. then i will start her on the honey again.

my girl used to get coughs and cold very frequently but i think after 1 to 1.5 months of taking the honey faithfully, the frequency of her cough reduced. she hardly gets colds too..

ah.. hee. vera. yeah.. i get mine from her too. try lor. i mean, no harm. :)

Yup, asked Vera to reserve for me already.

Sure hope this honey will solve the problem of the kids falling sick so frequently.

Anyway, thks for answering my questions. :) U've been so helpful.

Lastly, i am very impressed with what Cheryl can do. She is oh-so-clever. :)

I hope so too. but the key is to take regularly. dun take ad hoc then wont see results.

No problem with the queries. I will help if its within my means. :)

Hee.. Thank you for your compliment.
