How did Cheryl fare for the past 3 days? Well, Day 1 came and went without a glitch and she was all smiley (except for the "no-lunch" incident). As for Day 2, when I set foot in the house, the first thing she said to me was "Cheryl pushed someone. Cheryl fought Jie Jie" My eyes immediately widened and I asked what happened.
Apparently, someone tried to take a toy from her or was it the other way round? She also said she cried in school because she missed her Darling Daddy and me but the teacher sayang-ed her and she was alright.
Day 3, Daddy took half the day off as he was sneezing pretty badly in the office. He went to the doc and got medical leave for the rest of the day. Both Daddy and C came to pick me from work and C said that she was a good girl today. She also ate 4 pieces of the 8 of the cheese sandwich I had prepared for her. :) She said that she didn't cry today too.
Grand Mother commented that C's teacher likes her as she was well behaved and was the only one who didn't need help removing her shoes. She knew exactly what to do and sat down to wait for class to start. Did I mention that when I was in kindergarten, my favourite spot in class was my teacher's lap. Yes, I was the only privileged one and back in 2003 when Daddy and I got married, Grand Mummy and Daddy invited her to our wedding. I learned that she also asked about my progress in school over the years.
I asked Cheryl if she has been enjoying school and she smiled broadly and gave me a resounding "Yes".
Daddy and I are very proud of her!
This week has been busy for me but Daddy, who was on leave on the first day of school and just now, came to pick me up. This is really sweet of him because I would otherwise have to spend 1.5hrs travelling back. Thank you, Dear.
