Uncle Douglas offically ended his days of being labelled a child and became a teenager. I came home with a chocolate cake to celebrate the occasion. I didn't know which flavour to buy but then again, I figured I can't go wrong with a chocolate cake. I mean, everybody loves chocolate cakes!
Cheryl was very excited and she didn't understand what was going on. She was mesmorised with the flame and the candles. After Douglas blew out the candles, we lit them again, this time for Cheryl to practise for her coming birthday celebration. Training!
But she didn't know how to do it. We on the other hand, were blowing into her face, whistling and calling her name, trying to get her to mimic what we were doing. She was very happy and we got her to clap along as we sang the birthday song.
Soon, my dear! Soon, birthdays will become more exciting!
