finally made it there...

C's bi-annual dental appointment was due a long time ago: in April actually but I only just recently found time to take her down. Wanted to take her during the June holidays but was afraid that she would catch a flu or anything and then our trip to Hong Kong would be thwarted so I held on.

Then after we got back, we couldn't go immediately because we were afraid of passing anything to anyone so we stayed in and be socially responsible. I even had to give the meetings and staff retreat a miss.

Well anyways, we finally made it for the appointment. :)

C got a little bored while waiting for her turn. She came with a storybook but that wasn't enough to occupy her so she soon started prancing and posing.

Dr Quek wasn't around so we were attended to by Dr Simon Ng and his lovely assistant. C chose "orange" flavour this time round.

Gurgle, gurgle...

Dr Ng gave her this balloon and she drew a face for it. :)

hello byihui

its smile works at paragon. #11-11. i find the dentists there very friendly and gently especially with kids.

charges wise, i feel that they are reasonable. i mean, first visit will consist of the consultation fees which is $50. polishing is $60 for kids. for subsequent visits, you only need to pay for polishing.

the thing i like about them is, the dentist always reminds c that the procedure is painless and he always lets c feel comfortable : let her fiddle with his tools, play with his chair, introduces her to the "sucker" , etc so that she is not afraid of whatever he is going to stick into her mouth.

i would say i am extremely pleased with his service. the first doc we saw, dr quek was just as gentle.

thanks for the invite.
