We visited yet another very interesting place today!
I did a little research and found that we have an extremely peculiar museum in town. In fact, it is reputed to be one of its kind probably around the world and it was all thanks to Mr Mervin, the curator. :)
His interest in these Shanghai toys saw him displaying his collection in this museum.
We were so privileged because I don't think we would ever have a chance to see what we saw. All the toys and dolls on display tell a story and many of these dolls were in fact from the Chinese Revolution Period.
Our girls posing outside the Museum.
Daddy said the television set looked familiar!
The famous San Mao!
Our kiddos played with some of the exhibits. :)
Actually, so did the adults!
I asked C to pose with these huge dolls!
The children were busy looking out for clues and solving puzzles.
Pretty Mummies (and 1 Daddy) caught on film!
After a quick dinner, we headed off for some fun in the waters at Marina Barrage. Needless to say, the children had a whale of a time splashing in the water and getting all of us wet.
This is a great way to beat the heat of the Sun! :)
:)
... till the next time!
