Cheryl has been attending music class for close to 10 months now and initially, her progress during the earlier part of the year was good and steady. She participated actively during lessons and would practise her keyboard nightly.
Of late, I notice that she is getting more restless during lessons. And when it was time for her to play on the keyboard, she would act up and try her darnest to pretend that she is not well; her fingers would be limp and she would slouch and whine and I would have to bribe her with treats. *I don't like this at all*
From the looks of this, I have a feeling that her report for this term will not be as good as previous ones but I am not giving up yet. C seems fine during her nightly practices with me and she is at least willing to play through most of the songs she has learnt. And more importantly, she is always asking if "today is Saturday because there is music on Saturdays."
