When I put Cheryl to bed, I thought she felt suspiciously warm and that could only mean one thing. Yucks! The FEVER!
At 5 am, Cheryl woke up to tell me, "Mummy, diaper wet wet." Oops! I had forgotten to change her into her night diapers. She asked for milk so I gave her but 5 minutes later, she coughed and threw up all that she drank. Daddy and I had only just gone to bed at 3 am... but Daddy got up and changed the sheets, while I gave her a bath to clean her and at the same time, bring her temperature down.
After she had her new pajamas on, Daddy gave her a little water and she vomited on the clean sheets. Time check: 6 am. By the time I bathed her and changed the sheets again, it was close to 6.30 am and by this time, the three of us were so sleepy. I gave her some medicine and all of us went back to bed.
Sigh... Cheryl has been coughing for more than a month and we have been giving her medicine everyday. Daddy and I have been waiting for her to fully recover before we bring her for her
pneumococcal jab and now she is down with fever. One comforting thing is now, Cheryl is willing to take her medicine so we do not have to force feed her.

I woke up at 9 am and got dressed quietly so that I could bring her to the doc while Daddy rest. Let's hope she recovers quickly enough...
