I brought Cheryl shopping and bought some stuff for her. She has started drooling... I am wondering if she is teething again. Okay, I must make a mental note to do some reading about when the 2 front teeth will come out. So I bought some bibs for her. I also bought a little water bottle for her because she has learnt how to drink from a straw. Thanks to Granduncle Chee who has been training Cheryl with Yakult. She absolutely loves that! Her face will crinkle when it is sour but she won't spill any. She does not have the luxury of finishing the whole bottle; she drinks sips of it so when the bottle is empty, she will protest so badly and slap her hands on the high chair.
Okay, back to the water bottle. I filled the bottle with water and gave it to my eager little fellow and she was elated! She was drinking from the straw and because she was seated on the floor, she showed her excitement by using her legs. She went round and round in circles! I told Grandaunty June that if she keeps this up, that spot of the floor will shine.
I also bought 2 books for Cheryl. At the bookshop, she held onto the books tightly, even refusing to let go when I wanted to pay for them. She chose the books herself, picking and looking until she found the "right" ones.
But when we were home, and I passed the books to her, she didn't even give them another glance. She took the book from my hand alright but in a flippant and careless manner, bring it to the side and drop it. This is her way of telling me, "I am not interested in it anymore!" Okay, I will try the books again another day.
