part of growing up

This evening, C did ironing.

I had let her try some months back but that was more like a trial session. She only did 1 piece of clothes then. This evening was definitely more challenging. 

She remembered what she had learnt previously and much of this evening's chore went okay. It was not perfect but she was able to do a pretty decent job. Half way through, she wanted to give up but Daddy who was having his late dinner at the dining table told her to finish it. So she persevered... and completed all 10 pieces of clothes.

She confessed that it was not easy and it didn't help that she was perspiring. Her take-away: she said this made her more mindful and not change clothes that often and at her whims and fancies.
