C did her writing this evening.
She still hasn't gotten the proportion of the letters right but I am sure she will in time. I am trying not to stress her out too much as I do not want her to have adverse reaction to doing her homework. I hope my doing doesn't result in her thinking that she can get away with writing that is less than perfect.
