The end of the school year is never a good time for me because I have endless rehearsals to do and there would be days where I return home late in the night due to these commitments.
I have to apologise to C for not being able to do her nightly writing exercises with her or guide her through her music practices because I would be too tired but now that it is finally the holidays, our lives can start to slowly and surely return to normal. :)
These days when I was not around, I was extremely grateful and thankful for the extra pair of hands that worked magic. Daddy, despite a hard day at work, drove half the island across and picked me up, entertained C to no ends and even treated her to supper at MacDonald's. On Saturday, he brought C to music class and although Daddy hadn't done it for a long time, he was game. Daddy also saved the day when he sent C for her ballet class as I had rehearsal till 5 in the evening. It was pouring and I knew that C would miss her class as I wouldn't be able to get back on time to take her there.
Thank you, my Dear.
