Cheryl missed school for 2 days last week and today when she got back, she had loads of things in her bag. She was very excited when she saw me at her school and quickly dragged me to a corner where she sat down and opened her bag to empty the contents.
She had with her some of the worksheets that she had done in term 2 which included a song book in chinese.
This is her favourite song and she would sing it every time her Daddy and I entered the house.
She also learned colours.
For her English lessons, she has been learning about the different fruits. I must say her colouring skills has improved remarkably. At least she is not shading out of the lines.
She also had with her a gift for her Darling Daddy.
Both Daddy and I didn't know what this is but I told him to bring it to work and use it as a paper weight. I only realised it was a gift for Daddy when I turned the craft work around and saw this message:
Sweet, isn't it? I guess since Daddy's Day falls in June and the children have no classes during the June break so they made this early.
We tried to figure out what the words were inside one of the pot holes and I saw this little message.
After Daddy found out that this was meant for him, he got really possessive over it and both of them were twittering about when she did it and how she made it. Daddy didn't say it but I would not be surprised if he felt the same warmth in his heart when she gave it to him.
