Cheryl is still waking up in the middle of the nights to drink milk. I am not sure if she is really hungry or if she is just doing it out of habit. The night before, she woke up at around the same time too.
I let her fuss for 15 minutes before attending to her. I got her her bottle but instead of drinking the milk, she suckled for 10 seconds and went back to slumberland. The 150 ml of milk was barely touched!
So I decided to substitute her milk with water. She suckled for a while and when she realised that it was water, she scolded me. Can you imagine? She actually sat herself up and scolded me! I quickly made her a bottle of milk. She pushed the bottle away initially until I told her it was milk. Then she gladly emptied the bottle.
Okay, I will try the water again on Friday night; and this weekend. Don't want to wake up the rest of the sleepy heads in the house.
