This holiday saw us jetting to a country known for her delicious cuisine, trendy fashion, and flashy sports cars, Italy! It was our maiden trip to this mesmerizing country and initially we were apprehensive - Grand mummy was coming along and I was worried that she would not take too well to the food. After all, we were going to be there for a total of 10 days.
However, our worries were unfounded; Italian cuisine was surprisingly delicious and varied so I am going to start with some pictures of the food we had.

The food here at Piccolo Buco were exceptional. People would just stand in line and patiently wait for a table to be available in this small eatery.
This simple breakfast spread of cheese, fruits, and bread was prepared by the people who took us up on the hot air balloon. We landed after about an hour and had a lovely chat up with them. The cheese, olive oil were produced by the family who own olive farms and rear their own sheep and cows.
One of the best meals we had was at Al Picchio. The seafood pasta was divine and the cod fish was done just right - tender and flavourful.
Our meals at Orvieto were largely settled at Ristoria Del Monaldescai.
