This year is Cheryl's first lunar new year celebrations and as expected, she is the life of the gatherings. She has learnt how to gesture "gong xi gong xi" in the bid to get more ang baos... well, I am not being fair to her because really, even if she does not learn how to do it, the ang baos will still come.
She has become a lot more agile and active over the past weeks. Now, she can crawl really fast, she knows how to slowly get down from the mattress onto the floor; backside down first. Lately, she has also learnt how to climb stairs.. though only upwards. When she is mid way up, she will sit herself down and turn around to look for approval and then flash that megawatt smile of hers.
Children are really good at mimicking our actions and I only found out recently. When I put my hand to my ear and say "Hello Cheryl, Mummy calling Cheryl." She will put whatever she is holding in her hand to her ear and look at me. She is really a doll!
