We headed out from Singapore at 5.30am and our first pit stop was at Machap where we tucked into breakfast.
Then it was back in the car and more driving.

The Port Dickson Mini Zoo was our first stop after we reached our destination.
The children were really excited because they got to feed the animals there.
They also saw the star fruit tree for the first time in their lives. :)
Then we had lunch before we checked into our resort.
The Avillion...
About 10 years back, Daddy and I came to this resort and we were impressed with what we saw. The resort was beautiful indeed.

We caught the sun set just before we went out for dinner.
Dinner was a simple spread of local dishes.
The next morning, even before the sun was up, C and I went around taking pictures.
There was a lounge chair which overlooked the sea and what better way to enjoy this moment than to close our eyes and listen to the waves crashing against the shore.
