When we found out there would be a little concert for the pupils from Seimpi Music School, I quickly got us tickets for the performance as I thought it would be a good opportunity to see these budding musicians in action.
Our girls were very excited as we headed off to the Auditorium.

Yesterday, Teacher Siew Li called up to find out about Cheryl's progress on her keyboard and after the call, I got really anxious because apparently I had misunderstood her message last week. I thought C would be going for an audition on the 21st June but it turned out to be a performance! C would actually be scheduled to go on stage like these little ones here and play a piece of music! When I learned the news, I almost fell off the chair and was speechless for a good deal of time.
Teacher Siew Li assured me that C would be able to do it but Daddy and I have our reservations. C can be quite shy in front of strangers and she is not one who likes to hog the lime light. But we will continue to practise and see if she decides that she is brave enough to do this.
So I guess, the performance was a good chance to let her know what is expected of her.
Zinnia liked the show and she was singing to some of the familiar tunes the children played on stage. After the performance, we went for lunch and Zinnia told us that she wanted to go for a walk too. It was pouring so Daddy brought the girls to a place where they would be dry and cozy and where they would be lots of space for them to exercise their legs.

Nope, I have no plans to recycle our kids... .
Yeva is missing from the pictures... Next time, Daddy and I will attempt to take all 3 of them out together. :)
