I found the session at Seimpi really enjoyable and rewarding. C and Joshua responded well to the teacher and even played on the keyboard. I liked that the children will be exposed to sight-reading and classical music being a classical music buff myself; I had the chance to learn the organ (thanks to Aunt Monique who signed me up for classes when I was younger.) and I was in the Ensemble when I was in primary school and played the trumpet when I was in secondary school.
This is a sample of what the children did in the session. They had to decide on the mood of the pieces they heard. Cherl chose a sticker of a doggie for her effort.
I already decided that I would sign C up and after some discussion with Aunt Chloe, we signed both our kids up for their class which will start 5 Jan next year. Looks like C will be busy with the new year starts. When I asked C if she wanted to learn music, she nodded her head furiously and exclaimed loudly "Yes!" :)

Which branch you are sending her to? Thot of sending Kara to Siempi in White Sands mid of next yr. Do let me know how it goes ok?
We enrolled C to the newly opened outlet at Marine Parade.
I surfed the forum and found that the outlet at White Sands is not bad too. In fact, during the Open House, Fiona (teacher from White Sands outlet) was the teacher who conducted the demo; trial session.
Sure. I will. C is in the MIM In Me, which is a 6 months programme.
Could u share with me MIM In Me program? Is it recommended?
Hello
you didn't leave your name behind.
My girl was in the MIM programme which by the way, is a one year programme, not 6 months like I had posted.
the 1 hr weekly lesson is rather enjoyable and fun and the homework given is manageable. to see results fast, it is preferred that you practise with your child at home.
otherwise, during the lesson itself, my girl never had any problems because the activities that the sch uses to teach the music concepts were interesting and creative.
