birkes!

This pair arrived some weeks back.

I prefer to get C sandals instead of slippers. :) This pair was chosen because of its base really. As much as I like the leather feel on the feet, this was more suitable as they are water-proof and they do not give you the slimy touch when they are wet. This is definitely easier to wash too.

laces!

C has been asking me to get her shoes with laces because she said that her teachers had been teaching her to tie them. We have gone hunting for nice shoes but our attempts were futile.

So I decided to shop online and then found these:
Needless to say, C was all smiles when she opened the box. She proudly exclaimed that she would wear them to school tomorrow. :)

we went shopping...

I had to run a little errand and thought it would be nice to take C along. It has been a while since she last went out with me.

We were at Harbour Front Centre and immediately after we walked out of the train station, she caught sight of the Christmas decoration they were putting up and requested for her picture to be taken. That girl was almost in tears initially as there were many people exiting from the train station and they were in the way of the camera. But once the crowd dispersed, she quickly struck a pose.

What do girls do when they go out?

SHOP!

We bought matching shoes!

Crocs

Cheryl loves her Crocs and she is a proud owner of 3 pairs now! I got the yellow pair because her blue ones were so worn out and slippery. They are also getting a little too tight but still, she refuses to let me throw them away.

Now, she wears her yellow ones all the time, until I specifically tell her not to. Of course, I have to reason with her before she will agree to wearing something else. I got little decorations for her yellow pair and when Mickey lost his legs, I decided to get new designs for the purple mary janes.

Cheryl wants to put them on all the time but they are a little big for her feet now. I have to store them high away because I can tell, she can't wait to get her hands ... correction, her feet in them.

Pretty?

Running in my heels!

Now we have an idea of what Cheryl has been doing at home while we were out at work. We didn't expect her to be able to actually stand in these, let alone even run or walk for that matter but run she did.

This does look cute but I am praying so hard that she will not need these; read: be short (like me) and honestly, we do not like the idea of her wearing these till she is like maybe 25? Okay, maybe 20.

It's in her blood!

Cheryl has a facination for shoes, just like any girl would and our 25 month old girl has quite a collection herself. But she recently discovered the joy wearing of Mummy's shoes; and increasing her choices!

I am well known for my stilettos and I guess Cheryl must have inherited some of my genes and appreciation for the Heels.

Here is a video of her prancing around in one of my platforms.

Daddy and I do not fancy her wearing these, well at least not so early in her life. We like her to wear shoes that are more suitable for her age and for her running around.
