Something for everyone... Season greetings

There are only 31 sleeps before Christmas and it is also a time to get a little something for every one.

We have been looking around and yes, we have got something in mind, especially Christmas deals from here:

C is also excited about what to get for her Daddy dearest and she got her eyes set on getting it from here.

As for Mummy, she said:

I could use some pretty work tops. How very thoughtful of her.

What about herself? She's eyeing this - when we were in England some 6 years back, I bought her a bracelet with a snowflake charm and she loved it to bits. When she saw this bracelet, she asked if she could add this to her collection. I thought it was pretty too and why not, right?

Hmm.... I think we will be browsing for more Christmas deals as we still need gifts for her aunts and grandparents. :)

Sweet Little Things

Dresses are my preferred choice of clothes... because of practical reasons. :)

1) It's a one-piece getup.
The 1 hour 30 minutes in the morning before I leave for work is very precious and because we aim to leave for my work place by 6.10 am. In the short 90 minutes, all three of us have breakfast together, wash and clean up the dining area, get ready for work and school and revise C's spelling and ting xie. Hence it is very important that I do not need to fuss over what to wear.

2) It's a one-piece getup.
FTWM will be able to understand what I am whining talking about. For someone who has to juggle work demands, guide the child in the evenings with her homework, take the child to her different enrichment classes in the evenings and do household chores in the evenings before bedtime, a one-piece dress is essential because ironing and washing time is cut significantly.

So imagine my delight when I saw the dresses that Moonriver has to offer.

I like that there is a good selection of dresses suitable for work and play and I like that the dimensions of each dress, together with the material that they are made of, are clearly stated. The statistics of the model are also displayed so this gives me a better sense of proportion.

Delivery charges are waived when you spend more than $40, and Moonriver's 30-days return policy is more than reasonable. To top it all up, there is the option of paying cash upon delivery of the clothes. This, I like! :)

growing up...

I guess this is a rite of passage.

C told me that she wanted new shoes and when we were at the shop, she scanned the shoes on the shelves and then pointed to a pair. hmm.... boots. She wanted boots.

We didn't get them immediately because I told her we would look around more before deciding on any so the next evening, we looked at our favourite online store, Zalora.

She was pretty excited about the selection Zalora has on sneakers and talked about the different designs she saw. I told her that while it is important that the designs look good, wearing comfortable shoes should be on the top of her considerations too.

Coincidentally, Daddy mentioned that he was looking around for a pair of shades. Hmm....

I thought I could simply choose a pair, right? Well, I was wrong! Haha! I not only have to choose the right frames, I also have to consider things like the colour of the lens so I am just going to sit Daddy down later this evening. I think he will appreciate the choices he gets. :)

I think I will sit both of them down this evening to browse through the selection of sneakers and Oakley sunglasses.
