Daddy made it!
Before C went into her class, she looked around for her Daddy dearest and commented that he wasn't here yet but thankfully, he managed to reach just in time for her little performance. Ms Blue had an Open House this evening to show us what the little ones had been doing for the past year and to also let us know that she had plans to sign up the girls under her charge for the Royal Academy of Dance Ballet.
Cheryl clearly enjoys her weekly sessions with Ms Blue.
Ms Blue said that although C was younger than the rest, she still recommended that C register for the exam that was to take place in March next year. A check with Precious revealed that she wanted to do it too hence we promptly filled up the registration form. Preparation for the exam would start in September and that would mean C had to go for dance class twice a week. We warned C but she seemed rather undaunted.

i didn't know the girls have to go for ballet class twice a week once they sign up for the exam. very "siong" leh! do u mean most of the other girls in her class r in k2 already?
The teacher said tt although the steps are simple, they need e practise cuz it's e manner in which e steps are executed. They must be neat and sharp.
Yes, most of them are older. The teacher said tt e best age shod ideally be 7 hrs old because their fine motor skills will be better and the hands- legs coordination better controlled too.
i see. hehe, wonder why we are so anxious to start them on pre-ballet at 3 then :) think many girls i know go thru the first exam sometime in k2. stil long way for j then.
cuz we feel that they should not be doing nothing at home. hahahaha
i guess as long as they are happy doing whatever they are doing, it doesnt matter whether they eventually sit for any exams or whether they become ballerinas in the end.
its the journey. :)
and since we dont have the expertise to coach them ourselves, we pack them off to others. hehehe
