Silly sentences

C has been doing a lot of reading lately. She returned with a booklet of stories where she had to read and so far her progress has been good.

The passages are definitely longer and words with longer vowel sounds as well as diphthongs are present too. We read the passages 3 times a day and her hard work was noted by Ms Novelle who commented that C could read well and her comprehension skills were good. :) Nice.

Then in the evening, C was restless and I thought we could revisit a book which we bought her some time back. One of the activities in there was to construct silly sentences... .

C was giggling and laughing so hard at the sentences she came up with. Who wouldn't when you have "The money ate the flying priest." Ha ha!

Our Precious is a happy child!  :)
