Mama Mia Pizza!

When I saw that California Pizza Kitchen was conducting a behind-the-kitchen tour and a pizza making session for children, I jumped at the chance and signed C up. And since I told C last week about the programme, she was so excited that every now and then, she would ask me when she could go.

Emma and Joshua joined C for the event this afternoon. We arrived just before the event started and the staff got the children ready with the chef hats and apron.

Then they proceeded to their seats and waited patiently for instructions on what to do next.

 

The ingredients. Can you guess what type of pizza they would be making?

Then they started... First the puree, 

then the cheese...

Finally it was the pineapples.

And the children's pizzas were done. Emma didn't fancy pineapples so she didn't add any. C however, added all of the ingredients. Joshua decided he wanted some broccoli on his. :)

Oh, we caught sight of someone else too!

Phoebe! She is such a sweet little girl.

Then the staff got the children ready for the tour of the kitchen. Thankfully, it was an open-concept kitchen so I didn't miss anything too. 

  

C got really close to the oven. 

Then it was time for them to taste their own creation!

Joshua obviously enjoying his pizza and C and Emma packed theirs home for dinner.

But not before she had a taste of her own pizza.
