ID shots ... again!

C has to give Josiah a recent picture of herself and this time, we took many shots.

All on different days of course, because we just couldn't get the "right" picture.

In the end, we settled for this:

new Passport!

Time really flies! C got her first passport when she was only 3 months old and now, it was time for a new one.

How much has she grown? :)

our Precious has grown...

It's the beginning of the new year and Josiah has requested that we submit a recent photo of Cheryl. So this evening, I asked C how she would like her hair to do be done.

She gladly announced that she wanted her hair up in plaits so within minutes her hair was done and we took some shots at random.

Then I was browsing through some old blog entries and photos and my, my, C has grown and if I hadn't put these pictures side by side, I have almost forgotten how she looked like when she was younger.

Yeah, C was satisfied with this picture but the fringe was a little messy. Sorry Baby.

new ID shots

Cheryl's school requested for some photos and updates of her personal particulars. I had initially wanted to submit the picture she took when we had her passport updated but Daddy was reluctant to hand in those pictures as she looked really adorable in them.

So I decided to take my own shots.

I made her smile so many times, C got a little frustrated with me. Then I realised she wasn't really dressed for it too. So we had a change of clothes and I got her to pose again, much to her annoyance.

I was telling her to look this way, and smile that way and after a few minutes of entertaining me, C got fed up and she stuck out her tongue in many of the pictures.

But I managed to get this one really sweet looking one.

So cute!! :)

Serious Business

Both Daddy and I were on leave today; I wanted to go to the Malaysian High Commission to denounce my citizenship but upon arrival, we found out that they needed a lot of documents which I didn't prepare! I had tried surfing the Internet to prepare for this but they do not have a website! Unbelievable! In this age, where one would think just about anyone or any organization should or would have something on the World Wide Web, the MHC is still stone-aged!

Anyway, it was a wasted trip there but the rest of the day was rather fruitful. We went to ICA to update Daddy's and Cheryl's passports.

This was taken when our little precious was just 3 months old. She woke up from her nap hence the grumpy look and then, they didn't have the Bumbo and I had to carry her.

Isn't she a pretty girl? Daddy had to go into the booth and she lit up the moment she saw her Daddy! Didn't I say that only Daddy can make her beam like this? So this is her new picture in her passport.

Anyway, everything that we needed to do at ICA was done within a few hours unlike the MHC. Sigh... everytime we go the the MHC, we always had to make numerous trips. Once, I am done with my citizenship matters, I can kiss the MHC goodbye for good! After living in Singapore for more than 3/4 of my humble life, I am so not used to the snail-slow efficiency (what efficiency) they display. Not to mention, the language barrier!

When we were at the Guard House of the MHC, we had to get access cards and when I told them I was there to denounce my citizenship, the other guard in there stopped what he was doing and gave me a hard stare! I didn't notice, it was Daddy who saw the sight.
