We had grand plans this afternoon: there were a total of 18 adults and 13 children who were supposed to be having a pinic at East Coast Park. Unfortunately, the weather had other plans and we had to call in Plan B.
We still had our pinic alright, just that it was at the multi-purpose court.
It was a very good spread indeed.
Soon enough the families arrived and the games began.
Talk about games. There was also a variety and we came prepared with gifts for the winning teams.
3-legged race
Just look at the children grinning ear to ear!
After 2 games, we took a break and attacked the food.
After the tummies were filled, we were back at the games again. The children were blindfolded and they had to guess who their friends were.
Team work was very important here!
With a little improvisation, the children got to play Musical Chairs. Well it was more like Musical Plates!
Another team relay game: passing of the water bombs.
C's team emerged winners! :)
Definitely the highlight of the evening: a walk with their lanterns around the estate.
And finally, a photograph to remember this moment.
