hand print!

The pottery session we attended on Saturday had a lasting effect on our Precious.

She wanted to do more craft pieces and so since it was a break from school, we went out for a nice sushi lunch and then proceeded to Popular bookshop to get her some materials. I got her a packet of clay and some colours.

Then after her nap, she insisted on working on the clay so we put on her apron and hunted around for some "tools". We didn't have a rolling pin but I told her not to worry because we could always substitute them with something similar. We ended up using one of C's used Cod Liver Oil bottle.

C was very adaptable and she managed rather well, I must say.

And then...

We made 2 pieces: a hand print which was easy and a bowl for C's knick knacks. I helped her to shape the bowl but she rolled out the little balls and added them to the side.

Now we are waiting for the 2 pieces of craft to dry out before we add colours. :)
