the "C" and "P" words...

Cheryl finally found out what the "c" and "p" words are today.

She was bored and started doddling and soon, she found herself painting the walls blue! She must be so proud of herself because after she did that, she came to me and said, "Mummy, see!" I gave her a stern look and quickly grabbed some wet wipes but when Daddy saw what Cheryl did, he told her sharply that he was going to look for a cane.

Then he disappeared into the kitchen and came back with a damp cloth and told Cheryl to clean the wall. Initially, she thought it was just fun and was even laughing until Daddy threatened her with the cane. Only then did she take the task seriously.

She was actually sobbing when she cleaned the wall and even whispered to me to help her. She did what she could and Daddy scrubbed off the rest of the paint. Then I got her to apologise to Daddy.

Guess it's about time Cheryl learns; she will get punished for misbehaviour. This is not the first time she has drawn on the walls but this is definitely the first time she is punished for it. We seriously hope that she will not do this again.
