Streamers finally!

We finally collected our Stream after 2 months of wait! Daddy and I were crossing fingers and toes that we would receive our car soon as there were some hiccups and ripples in the Stream forum.

But thankfully, we got our ride and Daddy took leave to go down to pick it up.

This is it! Our latest toy! Actually we have already seen it on Friday but it was dark and the car had not been registered so we could not lay hands on it literally. haha!

But it does feel good to see it. Just look at Daddy's mug shot; holding onto the new number plate and all. But the face was really good, although I would not say the same for his feelings and excitement!

Our little girl sitting by the side of the road as the sun was blazing at the other end of the building. When she saw the camera, ahhh... she posed immediately. Talk about being cheeky!

These are our parting shots of our beloved Hippo.

For old times sake, this is a picture of the very-pregnant me taken in September in 2004. *Sob sob* This car has served us well... we got it just before our wedding in 2003 and she saw us through our pregnancy, through the birth of Cheryl. And we ordered it when it was close to Cheryl's 2nd birthday. Daddy even joked that our Stream was his gift to our little girl. That is so sweet!

Once we got the keys to the new car, Daddy immediately drove it for paint protection! Yap, the stickers were still on the car and other than the mounting of the licence plate, nothing was touched or removed. We didn't even had the chance to explore the car. The car sat in the workshop for a good 4 hours while we had lunch with some of Daddy's new found "Honda; Stream" friends.

Some pictures I took of us having lunch. Our little girl was getting bored...

After lunch we went back to the workshop to collect our newly polished car and drove straight to an audio shop to get some measurements taken. Yes, after years of talking about getting I.C.E for our ride, Daddy finally will be doing it for this new car. Total damage, err... let's just say, when I learned of how much it was, I almost fell off my chair.

Wedding Bells

Aunt Diana and Uncle Ben finally had their traditional wedding and boy what a day it turned out to be!

I must say it was a nice and beautiful affair and they looked really great!

Nice! Oh that look ... that loving look.

Here is our bright little spark. She was all smiles and really cooperative. The photo shoot took a while and she also had her milk break.

And so did everyone else...

The 4 Beauties! Okay, I give myself too much credit (I am so over-the-hill compared to my sisters) but the bride does look radiant.

And the Brothers! Our very handsome men. When Daddy saw Leon (second from left) he was surprised. Actually so was I as we both could not recognise him! Gone was the nerdy Leon and Hello Stylo Leon!

Isn't this a beautiful picture?

I could not resist this shot! My husband is so handsome... if I have one weakness, it's him.

This was what Cheryl wore for the evening because she had puked over her pink dress and this was the only dress I had. So I decided to improvised and let her wear tights, giving her that cutey look. I hope I pulled it off!
Grand Daddy has not been well and we were all praying and hoping that he would get well enough to be discharged but unfortunately, docs advised against his discharge. But he did not miss out on anything because we were calling him and updating him on what was happening.

Happy Birthday Aunt Diana!

Aunt Diana officially turns 25 today!

We went over and celebrated her birthday with a nice dinner. I guess we were all famished because can you believe it, I actually forgot to take pictures of the food! Oh.. food, glorious food!

But thankfully, I remembered when the cake was brought in so here are some nice shots.

Trial Class @ MMI Tampines

Cheryl and Yeva attended the first class of their little lives and I must say it was quite an experience, both for our girls and us.

It was a pretty relaxing atmosphere and the teachers were friendly. Cheryl loves the toys there and she behaved as if she has been there forever. She was all the Big-Sister when Yeva arrived at the school.

The class was small and some other parents were there with us. There were song-singing and story-telling and there were also hands-on sessions where the kids had to play some hand-and-eye coordination games. Yeva could do the tasks and Aunt Angie was very impressed with her; so was I. Cheryl, on the other hand, was bossy and wanted to do things her way. Okay, so school may be a good place to start to learn about conformity and rules.

Argh... I can't believe I said that...

Here are some pictures, so enjoy.

... I will always be right here...

This song is sickeningly, irritatingly addictive! But what I like is the lyrics.

It can take a while to load but it's a song that will make your heart warm and bring a smile to your face. Oh, and of course Cheryl does all these... and more.

Running in my heels!

Now we have an idea of what Cheryl has been doing at home while we were out at work. We didn't expect her to be able to actually stand in these, let alone even run or walk for that matter but run she did.

This does look cute but I am praying so hard that she will not need these; read: be short (like me) and honestly, we do not like the idea of her wearing these till she is like maybe 25? Okay, maybe 20.

Mya's in town again!

Mya, Jackie, Ralph, Aunt Pat and Gordon came from Down Under today and our girls met at the airport. Anyone could tell that they missed each other because they were all touchy and held hands all the way to the carpark.
There was so much excitement every time our relatives come back because well, we haven't seen each other for ages and of course, they always bring along with them goodies!
Just look at the ever-sinful but so very delicious chocolates! And the best part, we had fresh oysters too! Yes, so fresh you actually have to open them yourself. When I ate these, I could still taste the salty sea water. Hmmm.... heaven!

Gordon and Aunt Pat had to harvest these oysters somewhere near their house and Aunt Pat was "complaining" that Grand Mummy and Daddy had over-picked the oysters the last time they were there hence the "small" oysters this time round. But I am not complaining, I have oysters!
We went out to buy food for dinner instead of eating out as we thought it would be a great time to play catch up with every one and none of the mummies or daddies would have to run around, watching our tods and worry about them running into traffic.
Ralph's sister, Rachel was with them and this was her virgin trip to our humble shores so we decided to get her to sample some local food.

Just look at this, we had quite a feast too! Needless to say, our little ones had a great time too! They were so hyper, it was unbelievable!
Jackie bought some skirts for the girls; Dallas, Mya and Cheryl and when they tried the skirts on, they were totally transformed! Mya couldn't stop prancing around and Cheryl was tugging on hers as it was a little big.

Don't ask me from where or whom she learned to do this pose. A ballerina or a belly-dancer in the making?

It's in her blood!

Cheryl has a facination for shoes, just like any girl would and our 25 month old girl has quite a collection herself. But she recently discovered the joy wearing of Mummy's shoes; and increasing her choices!

I am well known for my stilettos and I guess Cheryl must have inherited some of my genes and appreciation for the Heels.

Here is a video of her prancing around in one of my platforms.

Daddy and I do not fancy her wearing these, well at least not so early in her life. We like her to wear shoes that are more suitable for her age and for her running around.
