Cheryl has learned the meaning of self awareness! She is now able to appreciate her own reflection in the mirror. Every time she sees herself in the mirror, it doesn't matter if she had been crying or screaming, she will instantly grin from ear to ear.

Recently, she will also shy away from her reflection. She will either bury her face in my chest or she will turn her face away. But she will look at herself again and then giggle!

Cheryl does not like pacificers and she prefers her fingers. So we thought we should get her a teething toy for her to chew on. This one was picked out by us.

However, Cheryl chose this herself while she was out shopping with Auntie Colleen. Somehow she managed to convince Auntie Colleen that she really liked it. It was her favourite until she discovered something else...

...these! Her all time favourite!

I attended the Teachers' Day dinner at Furama Hotel together with Cheryl. She was so comfortable on the way there (Auntie Kavita and Uncle Gooch picked us up and drove us there) that she fell asleep.

But the nap was good because she became so bubbly. She was all smiles when she reached the hotel. For more than an hour, I didn't know where she was or who she was with because EVERYONE wanted to carry her. The best part was, she was alright with everyone! (I see a PR in the making...) She is definitely a people-person.
